EDUCATION

The Farrash Foundation recognizes the primary importance of human capital development for the overall success of the national development programmes. Hence the Foundation gives priority to support programmes in the areas of education aimed at developing of appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to empower individuals and communities to upgrade their socio-economic status and break the cycle of poverty, thereby in an indirect way contributing towards national development. In its humble way and within its limited resources, the Farrash Foundation will aim to support educational programmes for individuals who have shown promising potential and are determined to improve themselves, but are unable to do so due to financial constraints, right from pre-school initiatives to adult education. The Foundation is heartened by the prospect of helping bright students from underprivileged backgrounds to gain higher education thereby, by the Grace of Allah, freeing themselves and their families from the clutches of poverty. It is our earnest hope that through its initiatives in the area of education Farrash Foundation will be able to act as a catalyst to positively transform the lives of many an individual particularly in the younger generation. It is our further hope that the beneficiaries of the Farrash Foundation will acquire a sense of social responsibility and aspire to make their own positive contribution in turn for the betterment of the society at large.
